CHA and our partners Lakeview Lutheran Church and the Over the Rainbow Association (OTR) celebrated the Grand Opening of Lakeview Landing, a new construction building that will ensure people with physical disabilities have safe, affordable, and fully accessible housing, along with the support they need to live independently and thrive.
CHA is providing Project Based Vouchers for all 37 apartments in the six-story building, a commitment that represents more than $18 million over the next 30 years.
“All of us either need these special considerations or we have parents, aunts, uncles or friends who do. And we know it can be hard to find them. Lakeview Landing was built to provide support and freedom to live independently. And it makes me happy to know that this place will make the journey easier for those who need it,” said CHA Commissioner Angela Hurlock.
