This research looks at the status of energy systems across 49 of our region’s islands. It provides an overview of island energy generation and demand; issues relating to the islanders such as proximity to services, population, security of supply and fuel poverty; insights into the electrical infrastructure; and opportunities to address some of the challenges facing island energy systems.
